Come along with me on my doctor's visit with Dr. Carmen E. Jiménez! She is the the proud owner and lead practitioner of Cosmopolitan Healing Center. She is bilingual (Spanish) Holistic Medicine Practitioner with a Master’s in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University (Los Angeles, CA) and a Bachelor's of Arts from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). She is licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health as a Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and is qualified to provide Acupoint Injection Therapy. She is also a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine, she is trained in various advanced techniques in Functional Physiology and Bio-Energetic Medicine. These include: Total Body Modification, Natural Healing Systems, Neuro-Emotional Technique and Functional Nutrition, to name a few. Prior to becoming a Holistic Medicine Practitioner, she managed and helped develop clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies, domestic and internationally. She has extensive experience studying the effects of prescription medications on the body and this knowledge motivated her to pursue a change in career. Dr.Carmen is passionate about self-empowerment through healing and believes that the power that made the body also heals the body. Because of her unique and diverse training, she able to provide comprehensive treatments that integrate Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Functional Health.
